Is it true? MW2 Beta?

Basically, I just got a message from one of my friends saying that if I send this to 10 friends, Id get a MW2 beta. Do you think its legit?

no, that stuff isn't real. if it was then u would actual see people playing the beta. the other time something like this was said was people were messaging like 1,000 microsoft points thing. it never worked.

They have said 100 times now there is no beta that anyone will be able to get into. I dont see how you could think for even a split second that this was real. There is no beta you will get into, now or ever..there is none, and there never was. Only was very tight closed testing with people from IW and such.

i hope there's no MW2 beta cuz then i'd have to play it. i just the game itself

It depends. If you had to send it to 10 friends while thinking about your biggest crush, then yeah it's legit. A Nigerian prince will contact you shortly with the download code.

Infinity Ward have gone on record and said there will be no MW2 beta of any kind released. So I'm afraid your friend is lying to you :)
 
Since the official word from IW is that there will be no MW2 beta of any kind, I am locking this down as clearly with that answered there is not much more use for this topic.
 
Check out Brad's interview with Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling where he explicitly states there is no MW2 beta coming. Ever.
