Man, I can see people red ringing their xbox on purpose to get a Slim.

It would be highly unlikely seeing as the new 360 probably cost a large amount to make and they still have tonnes of cheap, old ones to replace the ones that broke. I can see this happening in a year or two though once they completely phase out the old model.

Im using my xbox as a stand for my PC monitor. As you can probably guess I do not play it much these days. I want a new system to come out.

Not a chance, that's at least 750,000,000 xbox's they'd need to replace and they'll surely go bankrupt.
