Is the Dualshock 3 controller worth it?

Is it worth $60? Does the rumble work well? I'm considering whether I should buy one or not.

Yes it is worth it. It feels very durable and the rumble is just right.

It's very nice. I'm going pick one up because I broke one of my SIXAXIS controllers.

Where do you live? It's around $55 retail in the US, and Amazon.com sells it for around $43 right now, and it's totally worth it. The buttons feel a lot better and are pressure sensetive, and it feels great when that thing rumbles!!

It's absolutely a night and day difference between the sixaxis and DS3. Honestly, it feels so much better. Like Qorious said, Amazon has it for about $43 right now so its an awesome deal. You really wont regret it. It's heavier and it adds a huge sense of feedback and gameplay response to the experience.

its an excellent controller, and a big time upgrade from the original sixaxis, but you should've have bought one on black friday for $30 at radioshack!

It's definitely worth it. The Sixaxis always feels way too light, the dualshock 3 is about a perfect feeling weight.

The rumble is nice, so I mean, I guess it is worth it. I have never used a regular six axis though, so I couldn't really tell you.
