It's never too early for E3 predictions!

So we are a little over 2 months until E3, and I've been thinking a lot about it lately, mainly because most of the big games we actually know about are out already, or will be out BY E3. So, let's predict what will be at E3 2010 shall we? Don't forget usually half of the stuff from E3 is for holiday of that year, but many of it (most?) is for the following year.

Gran Turismo 5 has been playable in one form or another for a couple of years. The rest of your list is pretty "state the obvious" stuff.

There was a rumour a week or so ago that Insomniac was looking at going multiplatform. If so, maybe Jak 4 will be multiplatform. I think there is something in store for the DS, and I also think there will most likely be something about the Slim 360. There are too many rumours right now and it would be wise for Microsoft to do that. Also, with the news of them getting rid of MUs and allowing USB, they might be taking that slot of altogether. It's looking that way.

I'm hoping for more info on Natal too. We've only seen the stuff they showed last year and the technology has undoubtedly improved. 

If they plan on getting Zelda out the door this year (which they've said a number of times is the plan), there will be a demo.
Also, I expect a playable Golden Sun DS demo this year.

Final Fantasy 45, s'all I'm sayin'

Another year, another futile hope for a Half Life announcement of some kind. Don't really see anything else on the horizon that I would really care about.

Maybe / hopefully a GTA5 Tease.

Most of the OPs predictions seem plausible. Nothing too exciting there as most/all of those games have been known about for some time now, or at least have been speculated as being announced/shown for some time now (Gears 3 for example). The one game though that I'm really hoping is announced at E3 this year is Elder Scrolls V and it better not be a goddamned MMO! Bethesda has to be working on something and with Obsidian doing Fallout NV, I hope to Christ it's a new Elder Scrolls game. I'd love to see some fresh IP as well. There have been some really great new IPs this generation but most of them already have a sequel or in some cases, two sequels by now so hopefully their is a wave of new IPs this year. 
 
Plus I want to see some real non-minigame game that utilizes Natal in some innovative ways. Playstation Move just strikes me as what the Wii controller should have been so I'm hoping Microsoft can show us something more original which unfortunately is not exactly their strong suit .

Holy crap, you're putting way too much hope at what will come out of E3.  You'll be very dissapointed, I bet.

More Star Wars: The Old Republic inside looks and possibly an announcement concerning SOE's rumored Star Wars: The Clone Wars MMO.

Lets hope they make more games using PS-Move: Given it's absolute accuracy and whatnot. Most likely would've got my hands on Resistance one and two if they patched the first one with trophies.

I think Rockstar may steal the show with showing off Agent and LA Noire. May well be some teaser for the next GTA, but I think that may not be viewable even at hands-off level until E3 2011

I'm expecting a playable demo of Halo: Reach and Metroid: Other M, another presentation of the Natal, a trailer for Portal 2 and possibly some more info on the game (remember GLaDOS's hidden message at the GDC awards), a trailer and possible demo for the next Zelda, more info on Fable 3 and possibly a trailer and demo of it too and more info and possibly a trailer and demo for Pikmin 3. I'm not holding out too heavily for any of this stuff (expect maybe Portal 2) but I'm sure we're going to see some awesome stuff coming out of E3 this year. I'd like to think that we'd also get to see Half-Life 2: Episode 3 in at least some form but with no clues around to suggest that might happen and the confirmation we won't be getting Episode 3 this year I'm really not holding my breath on that one.

The three companies that I'm going to be watching this year: 

• Sega (as they've had a hot year with Bayonetta, Sonic 4 announcement, Resonance of Fate, etc)
• Rockstar (between Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne 3, L.A. Noire, and anything else they haven't shown us, they'll have a great showing this year)
• Bethesda (their publishing side has been getting more and more business, and I have a feeling that they are going to have some interesting stuff to show off finally)
