It really is a shame how niche and forgotten that game has been doomed to be.  On the plus side, it's a great thing for collectors to get.

I would not say it's doomed Randolph, it's true there is a clear danger of the game getting lost but I think Capcom will do all that they can to make that hot happen. I don't think this will be another Zack & Wiki.

For starters they may need to consider changing the name for western release. Even Capcom Vs Tatsunko would be better I think. The title with a Japanese name makes things more tricky.

Wii, why oh why are you region locked?
I want to get one of these sticks and one of those Neo-Geo sticks.

It pissed me to find out it was not region free, prior to the Wii launching Vice President Perrin Kaplan (NOA) said that it would be. She also implied that it would be up to third parties to decide if they wanted to attach a region lock to software.

No, I think it's a style thing more than anything, it would be hard to implement a character like her in such a stylized game.

It's a actual amine house in Japan. Some of their franchises were alive in the US back in the day and some will remember them fondly.
