Basically some modder created created a school shooting mod for Half Life 2 and Jacky boy here is threatening Valve. They removed the mod from Moddb. It's the first time something got removed for something like this.

Make it so that anybody can scan their school yearbook and the game accurately models the faces onto the bodies. Heck, why limit it to a school yearbook? Make it possible for any photo so you can do your co-workers, local community, or random internet camwhore in.

That's just the thing.  He's not important.  But for those that really don't know, he was an American lawyer who out of some sort of insane desire decided to become a crusader against violent video games.  He showed up as a talking head in the press after school shootings and such to promote his viewpoint that games are corrupting the youth and turning them into violent monsters.  But his behavior became so erratic and outrageous that the major press outlets started to ignore him.  I don't think even Fox News would invite him on the air at this point.  He was subsequently disbarred and it's highly, highly, HIGHLY unlikely that he'll ever be allowed to practice law in the United States ever again.  In short, Jack Thompson is a disgraced former attorney done in by his own hubris and desperately clawing for the attention that he's craved this entire time. Jack Thompson is right! Video games are satanic tools of the socialist liberal agenda. I remember when i was just a wee lad of 32 I saw the Great Communicator, Ronald Reagan at an arcade and heard him exclaim "Goddammit this pinball machine ate my quarter!", and I realized that that is the perfect metaphor of the objective of the video game agenda. They want to steal the Spare Change of Freedom from the pockets of America.
