Never made that connection when I watched the first three films...but I should really get around to watching some more of them.

Man now Jeff is going to be at the forefront of all my samurai fantasies.

I only knew the Beat Takeshi version of Zatoichi didn't know the legend had spawned 25 films with the same actor before hand. I will need to keep an eye open for some of those.
