Just Ordered PS4 and Xbox One From Amazon!

Just Ordered PS4 and Xbox One From Amazon! No TAX and on my Amazon card with no interest for awhile! Might sell one if it has a higher demand then re-by it later when it gets in stock or has the huge AAA game that's a must buy.

Both systems should be here DAY 1 As PROMISED by Amazon! I paid $7 shipping on PS4 and $10 on Xbox One. Two day on PS4 says DAY 1 At my DOOR! Xbox One of course did not specify that, only stating that it's a day one console in the heading. To be safe I went with 1 day shipping for the 3 XBONES more! Also, I just noticed that on the Xbox One controller it comes with has a "day one 2013" stick or paint job in the middle.

I would say buy now b4 they are gone! I'm from Michigan and waiting in lines in NOVEMBER/DECEMBER sucks!

PS4 Launch Edition and Xbox One DAY 1 Edition are both sold out on amazon within 24 hours! I should have bought another PS4 or two (for re-sale), With these moving quickly I should be able to re-sale one at launch for a good number!

I wouldn't have a problem affording the two but there wouldn't be enough exclusives day one to justify plunking down that much money when one console can serve the purpose of playing all the available next gen multiplatform games.

That and the powerglove, a free to play model lets us sell new hand and testicle skins.

Apparently people payed good money for the Custom face plate that came with pre-ordered 360's

There is a Launch day edition on Amazon, so they must be doing something.

To be fair, my wife and I do not drink or smoke, and while we still go out partying with friends, are costs are substantially less then those that do.

I have a lot of discretionary funds. That being said, I am interested in Quantum Break, Spark, and Below for the One. For PS4, I am interested in Drive Club, Daylight, Knack, Infamous, and The Order (this now even more so, now that they've confirmed that everything in the trailer was rendered in-engine with regular in-gameplay models.).

I'm probably forgetting games for both, but either way. It is enough to be interested in both. That being said, when my friends asked me what they should look at if they could only get one system, I did say that they should probably consider the PS4, even if both are valid choices. Just due to the value proposition compared between the two, and my friends do not care about TV (so the One loses some value proposition.)

Also: Preordering through bestbuy.com with instore pickup requires $0, and guaranteed me a launch day console of each, without standing in line.

I cant seem to find anything different with it, maybe its just a name?

Ah, the launch day edition just has release date delivery. So not really a special edition at all. Just guaranteed day one. Standard (normal) editions are when supplies are available.

Well thats kinda stupid, that and I really don't think consoles will be as hard to find as they were last gen.
