Even for a B-movie is looks flat out awful. Thats not a preemtive judgement, its a fact. This movie will be fucking terrible. I've honestly never seen such a bad trailer in my life. The Batman theme had my laughing out loud.

out of the hundreds of rich universes in videogames to steal from how is it that the most common form of videogame movie is one based on a fighting game franchise... a Genre not really known for it's expert storytelling or standout moments.... you just end up with scene after scene of really boring fight choreography and bad special effects.. at that point you might as well spend 90 minutes playing the game.

Actually KOF is the one fighting series with a pretty deep story behind with fairly complex character relationships. The only problem is that its barely covered in the games themselves other than some references. You have to dig around to get your KOF plot but one you do, its pretty entertaining and adds to the game. Did I mention how this movie is set to cover none of that whatsoever?
@Apathylad: the dude playing him seems to be more a stunts double than an actor....pretty much everything hes credited for on imdb has something to do with stunts

Are you saying that Toad, a character who has been around in the X-Men universe for decades...and Darth Maul, a character in the Star Wars universe...AREN'T iconic? They may not be to you, but they are to plenty of others.

He's also in the current season of Heroes, and he's awesome on that as well.

Toad is one of the most unpopular X-Men villians and Darth Maul only appeared in Episode One which everyone tried to forget about as soon as they saw it (for good reason). So yes. I am saying that neither of those characters are even remotely iconic.
@MysteriousBob: Darth Maul is plentifully iconic whether you want to recognize him as being such or not. Just because people wanted to forget the movie that his character was in...that doesn't mean they want to forget Darth Maul. As for Toad, he must be incredibly unpopular to have lasted in the comics since 1964...something that many mutants weren't capable of pulling off through the events of Decimation. = /

I think that's supposed to be Lucky Glauber from the American Sports Team because it looks like a sports jersey and he's one of the few guys I can think of in KOF who wears a baseball cap besides Terry. Hooray random character reference?
I think Terry's supposed to be the guy in the puffy red vest, which worries me greatly.
