This would only be good if it is also on the 360 because I am not buying a PS3 just to play KH3. Either way though I'm happy that there will be another KH, I loved 1 & 2.

With how smooth they could make the graphics look on PS2, just imagine what they could do on 360 or PS3.

Still, I can't say I'm a fan of the series...

I liked KH2 more. It has been a while since I played either but I remember liking the combat in KH2 better.

I remember when the next gen consoles first were coming out, I remember reading something in a Game Informer that the next installment of the KH series would be multi platform. I hope they were not just talking hand helds.

Meh, the games are mediocre at best.  I played the original just for the Gummy Ships...

It never seemed like an 'if' and rather a 'when' to me but still good to hear regardless. The KH team are working on FF versus XIII, and in the time between main releases KH 2 and 3 there's the DS and PSP games to satiate fans and add a bit more story. It seems like a long time to wait though, having to get versus XIII out of the door and then making KH 3.

I imagine the events in Birth by Sleep will somehow tie into and set-up things quite a bit in 3.

You cant tell him that something wasn't disappointing because its his opinion. For him maybe it didn't meet his high feelings for the first one. I never played through either one. I have played them at a friends place and they seemed quite good. I did play Chain of Memories but thats completely different."

Disgaea, how was it remotely dissapointing? It was LEAGUES better than KH1. The combat was much better and final form was bitchin'....But the magic system kinda sucked."

Game that sold well gets sequel. Wow. What a revelation.

The combat is shallow and the story is standard incomprehensible melodramatic junk (i.e. just like anything else made by Square), but oddly enough I don't hate Kingdom Hearts. Perhaps its the excessive and overblown fan-service for every single part of the game, complete with hard Sephiroth Battle.
