and euhm, there's nothing to it, is anyone with me on this? the platforming's contrived, the game looks pretty horrible if you leave out the facial animation, the camera is irritating, i'm at chapter 5, i wanna stop playing. or is it really worth seeing through?
Last night i put in "Enslaved : Odyssey.."
" if you don't feel it now you won't feel it ever. I loved the game (while admitting it has faults). also, why not post this to the enslaved forum? "
i always forget to place threads in the correct section, in fact i never even see it clearly, sorry, can i do it now? how does it work, SORRY
I thought it was a great game, but I can understand other people not liking it as much. I really liked the setting and the story, and I thought the art design was top-notch, but the gameplay itself is kinda "meh."
The ending is cool. Contrived, but cool.

do this and everything will be okay :D
Same here. I played around 4 hours in my first session and haven't played it in since. The story seems interesting enough and I'd like to see Pigsy (had no idea he existed till the Bombcast mentioned him), but I'm not having fun. The framerate (on the PS3 version at least) is shocking at times, and it feels like a grind.
If I get one of my friends to play my copy I'll gladly watch the end though.
I liked the game a lot, but it's really just the acting and story that does it. The combat is terrible, the camera is frustrating, and the platforming is okay.
I played it all the way through and loved it. For me, it captured my interest right away and I thought the visual design of the world was spectacular. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

I quite enjoyed it, myself. It certainly wasn't one of the best games of the year, but I found it to be an enjoyable romp and the combat was pretty enjoyable on hard.
I really liked it. Well, parts of it. The combat is shallow and the camera can be a pain, but the characters feel real and the story is great.
