Good move, I wondered when they were going to announce this. 

Yeah it makes sense, now I get some time to play Gears before this is out : D

Why be mad?  They get an additional week of polish time, and the game doesn't have to be released alongside what is arguably the biggest Xbox 360 game of the year.

Yeah, the months of October-December are so flooded with games, I'd rather not have to buy two games within the same week personally.

its only delayed 2 weeks really...this is hardly even news, yet its everywhere...plenty of games get pushed back a week or two constantly, usually no one even mentions anything.
Regardless, this is a PC game first and foremost, and anyone that is looking forward to it, is either gonna buy it on PC or buy it regardless, no game release will stop that from happening. I like new IP a original games way more than sequels anyway, this , Dead Space, LBP, and the new way Fallout and Farcry are ,  is the biggest draws for me this year way more than any other games.

I was under the impression they just moved the game to Half Lifes anniversary?"

I'm glad. Better time to release it IMO.

Noooo... I was really excited to play this with my friend. I'm not really into Gears... but I guess I'll have no choice but to play Gears or something till L4D comes out. At least Valve won't disappoint me.

i heard the real reason why it was delayed was because the dev kit 360 they were using RROD and now they have to wait to get another one.

It isn't gonna get delayed again to next year or anything...its only 2 weeks later guys :P not a huge deal. I can't wait to see what people do with this on the PC, in a commentary, valve said they expect people to make entire new campaigns and such, and their system will automatically do all the AI and spawning for the level they end up making, it'll have so much replay available.

Guess they need to work out the bugs a bit more.Whatever Ill have QOS at the time.
