Duders,

Legend of Grimrock is now only $7.50 on gog.com for the next 48 hours. If you want some old school DRM free gaming, pick this up. It's highly recommended by me.

Highly recommended by me too; my favourite game this year (aside from Stacking, which I suppose doesn't really count as being a 2012 release...).

Also, a link to the sale.

Is it activated through steam? I don't mind GOG but i prefer to have all my games in one spot + achievements

Good idea on linking to the sale.

Awesome game, highly recommended. The puzzles are well-thought and challenging, but rewarding at the same time. And there's a shitload of secrets to discover, ranging from backstory info to items and challenges. And, IIRC, they have just released the level editor for free, so the replayability of the game has increased many times.

No. As mentioned in the first post, this doesn't have any DRM.

GOG.com and Steam are competing services.

@VierasTalo: hmm, guess I'll wait a couple of days for the steam summer sale, I'm sure this game will be on sale

Nice one. I'll give it a shot at that price.

If only it was turn-based...

When it comes to GOG VS Steam, they're about equal in my mind. Sure, I love having a gigantic, easily accessible catalog on Steam, but GOG is DRM-free with a no-nonsense install process (except the sometimes infuriating bundled software in their game installers, but that's Foxit Reader, which is actually good).
