This is a tad late in the day, but I've been obsessing over the release of Prototype tomorrow so, without further ado, welcome to Let's Play! home of the greatest freeware games on the internets! Today's game is:
Quake Live

So, many people have known about Quake Live for more than a year now; this is for all of the crazy people who haven't heard of/played the game yet: Quake Live is a freeware remake of Quake III Arena. It's fairly fast-paced and a lot of players have become unbelievably good but that's not a problem for new players thanks to it's skill ranking system which matches you up with players on par with your abilities. I was going to plug the game Nexuiz in here too, but it's basically Quake anyway so why not just go all the way, eh?
