Ok so I have the opportunity to purchase this TV off of a guy this weekend. He bought it in Feb this year and it comes with a 4 year warranty through BestBuy (i already called and checked that it is transferable to my name) he has the receipt still too. He's upgrading to a bigger TV...
He is asking $1000

Maybe.... but it is 60hz, you might be able to get it cheaper, i got a 46 inch sony LCD 120hz for 1500

Sounds like a good deal to me, but I just use my 1080p 22" monitor which I got for $199 =D

yeah i was thinking the same thing.. i'd def prefer a 120Hz, especially on a larger screen. and all the reviews i read said it has poor rendering of blacks, it was too light.
i'd decided not to bother getting it, even before i read the replies
