Feeling bad for bringing this up but will there be TNT and an unprofessional show this week? I would totally understand if the crew took a break but the shows are still scheduled in the coming soon tab of the home page.
Live shows this week?
TNT and Unprofessional Fridays are scheduled for this week, but I would not be surprised if the crew took them down.
I wouldn't bet on it dude. It might be a few weeks before content comes back more regularly.
The schedule is still up. I like the idea of playing some of his favorite games if they did try and do something. But I can understand if they are not up for it at this time. Personally I haven't been in the mood to play video games recently although I have tried.
@humanity: In absolute silence. I want to see Jeff creepily stare into a zoomed in camera lens for an hour and a half doing nothing but drinking jameson's
You seem to have misspelled Mike's Hard Black Cherry Lemonade.
I was expecting at some point a thursday/friday show that was a tribute/fundraiser with doublefine, harmonix, CAH, etc in attendance.
I think one of the reasons why they might be reluctant to put out the older Ryan shirts, or have a fundraiser in his name. Maybe the idea of using his name, or death to make money. And I understand. At the same time Monday when they posted this I was in a meeting over skype talking about my late grandfathers business. It is very hard thinking about someone in very unemotional terms.
@professoress: Well, that was only on account of the stipulation of them busting open scotch. Let's be real, I wanna see the man down inordinate amounts of MD2020

I think on the Bombcast Rorie/Jeff mentioned about something being in the works as far as donations to Anna and putting something up by the end of the week.
Fuck Video Games.
I can wait until they are 100% ready to get back into the swing of things. I personally have enough backlog to last a while. I want them to be ready when they come back and not rush anything just for the sake of it.
The schedule for Scoops last night stayed up well past Patrick tweeted he canceled it, so just being the schedule does mean much right now. I guess I wouldn't be surprised about it going either way at this point. I'd keep your eye on twitter, that's probably going to be the quickest way to find out. Obviously, I hope they take as much time as they need, we really don't need to see them play games as much as they need to recover. I'm sure they'll make the right decision, whatever it is.
I'm hoping both being on the schedule means they intend to do it. If not they'd publically cancel it on Twitter. Also Worth Reading. Now that NEEDS to happen because we need a nice compilation of all the Ryan Davis tributes.
I think it'd be cool to see them do some kind of "Ryan's Favorite Games" stream once they come back. But if they don't come back for a few weeks, then that's 100% fine by me. I just think the idea of such a thing would be nice as a way to remember Ryan whenever they're ready.
I hope so, this would be a perfect opportunity to play some of Ryan's favourite games.
I completely agree, this would be a perfect idea! Obviously it is their decision to work if they want, but this would be a fantastic tribute to Ryan.

I was actually thinking the same thing. Obviously, the ifs and the whens would be up to the crew, but I feel like it would be a nice gesture. Pour one out and play some video games.
Also, they probably know already, but it bears repeating: we will wait and we will be here.
I'm fairly sure Giant Bomb will remain "dark" for a good while. I say let the guys chill out and grieve the way they want for as long as they want. Then, when they feel they're up to the task of streaming for our dumb asses, they'll come back. But for now...
Fuck Video Games.
And TNT is off the schedule now. Guess no TNT then. Friday's still on it though, I'm optimistic in saying that seems like a sign it's not cancelled. Bet we'll see T Shirt design and some special guests.
Camera pointed at a empty chair lit with a single light as Ryans Summer jams play softly in the background.
I really doubt it, the guys are still probably not ready to do this.
Yep, and wasn't giantbomb built on friends hanging out talking about games? That's their philosophy for quicklooks, live shows and bombcast. The main focus was commentary and riffing, something that is completely broken up now, and I'm certain it will take some substantial time before they get even close to their old ways, let alone ever being that again. I know it's a bit dramatic, but Jeff and Ryan joking with eachother started and built Giantbomb's style. Even thinking about that, who's Jeff going to play Kinect games with? That's what I am most worried about, Jeff.
