It appears that all but 2 of LulzSec "ruling council" are still out there now. Looks like most of these guys/gals will be arrested and hopefully properly punished.

Edit: Sorry, screwed up, meant to say, "all but 2 of LulzSec's "ruling council" have been arrested."

They went from mildly amusing antics, to things that turned the entire internet against them.

They became totally arrogant, stupid and deserve everything that's about to happen to them.

Maybe thats going a bit too far. Release the contents of their hard drives and internet history instead.

Agreed, but you can't deny we all enjoyed standing aside and watching hell break loose for a few months!

Serves those arseholes right, not only did they act like total wankers - but they were just so damn smug about it. Anyway, mon the FBI.

I didn't like any of it.

@AhmadMetallic: It was just baffling how much they were able to do and how random it all seemed to be. It was like they drew numbers at random to see who to fuck with next.

Internet hacker gangs finally getting what's coming to them. It's a pity they couldn't use their talents for good, like stealing information from the Kremlin's information network or anything.

To reference the Bombcast, it's nice to see real world consequences for internet bullshit.

Or, rather, alleged members of Lulzsec are being arrested.

#23 Posted by N7 (3683 posts) -

Ha. Hope they get sent to federal "pound you in the ass" prison and meet the Booty Warrior.

@Claude: Yeah, I also find it funny that they got caught. If you are going to be these spectacular hacker pros who look down on companies for their inferior security, you'd think they might know a thing or two about hiding a trail or protecting themselves.

Not to focus on the semantic's but that's not quite an agreement.

Not to focus on grammar, but you need to have a doctor check out that growth between the C and S in "semantics."
