Mass Effect 2 is better then Uncharted
well i wont be clicking that link, but that does sound stupid. Why would they dare insight such console warring?!!? ps uncharted 2 is way better! :)
guess it makes sense PS3 exclusive vs 360 exclusive so the idiots can go at it. Like they need more reason to argue....stupid IGN." @handlas said:
"humm I won't click it to not give them a hit. Unless your title is misconstruing things? Why would they compare these 2 games that are so completely different. "I read about of it, its basically them trying to combat fanboyism...with more fanboyism. "
I for one don't think it's a flamebait. It's the opinion of the guy that wrote the article.
It's not meant to be taken so seriously, or it may be also an attempt to generate controversy with the help of those that take their word as rule.
Chill guys... UC2 and ME2 might be the best games in you've played, but to someone else there are better. Deal with it!
" Mass Effect 1 > Mass Effect 2... RPG wise... "Too bad the game isn't an RPG, it's a Shooter/RPG hybrid. God, why can't people understand that. HYBRID.
Anyway, they're comparing two totally different games. If I were to pick which one would be most memorable and enjoybale it would definitely have to go to ME2 because of the replayability factor. I spent over 100 hours so far in the game (Just beat Insanity tonight!) and Uncharted 2 took me a little over a measly 10 hours. Comparing a game like Mass Effect 2 to Uncharted 2 isn't fair because the world is so fleshed out, it has history, cultures, so many people to talk to, decisions to make, etc.

I sent him that in an email.. Feel free to copy the same message if you feel so inclined, I don't care.
Ahhh the internet. Where everyone demands freedom of speech as long as everyone else shuts up and agrees.
Raving Rabbids was better than Uncharted 2 BTW.

I said you can't compare a game that has so much content like Mass Effect 2 to such a linear game like Uncharted 2 because of the reasons I mentioned. I wasn't comparing. A comparison would be: Mass Effect 2 is much better because it's longer and more filled out, whereas Uncharted 2 is like walking in a straight line. What I said was, you can't compare the two because Uncharted 2 is a very linear game, qualities which the two games don't share. Hence them being different types of games, durr." @xyzygy said:

That's ridiculous. I've never really had much against IGN, I just always prefered other sites. This is the stupidest article though.
" @DuhQbnSiLo said:Notice he said RPG wise. So maybe the RPG elements of the game are done better in the first one. Maybe he feels the shooter sections are equally as good in both. " They are both good games. Play them both. When you are done go play something else. Enjoy. End of story. "
" @xyzygy said:I believe that what made ME1 a strange (but excellent) game was the vast imbalance between the shooting and the RPG - the RPG section was done extremely well, while the shooting section definitely needed some polish. However, with the game being a hybrid, having an imbalance like I mentioned is kind of going against it's hybrid nature. Which means that the RPG elements of the first game kind of spoiled the other sections not being up to the ante. Balancing them out in ME2 helped the game as a whole." @DuhQbnSiLo said:Notice he said RPG wise. So maybe the RPG elements of the game are done better in the first one. I'm quite sure he hasn't played anything that isn't on the Playstation." @nanikore said:
" No, it isn't. "You have not played it... "
But yes, stupid arguement as a whole and a very obvious attempt to get hits by angering fanboys.
Almost as stupid as people trying to claim Mass Effect 2 isn't an RPG because they removed the weapon specialisations..
