MMORPG/FPS? - General Discussion

I think it would be cool if someone made an mmorpg but in present time or near future, possibly fps or 3rd person shooter. I heard huxley might be like this if it ever comes out, also SWTOR will be awesome but not quite what i am thinking. I would even be excited about a rpg (non-mmo) shooter in present day. I fear something like this might never happen. If anyone has some cool suggestions or their own ideas I would love to hear them.

Isn't the next Borderlands game rumored to be a mmo?

Check out APB, that's an FPSMMO. There have been quite a few smaller FPS and TPS shooter MMO's actually, but I don't think any of them did very well.

Planetside was good, but it's pretty old now.

That wouldn't work out too well imho due to the delay MMOs tend to have. :E

Wait? There's a First Person Shooter mode in APB? :o
I have to check that out the next time I can play
