Modern Warfare 2 demo'ed at the MS press conference?

"Gloomy day in LA, but it's off to the Xbox press briefing I go. Modern Warfare 2 fans won't want to miss it."

That sounds promising.

I'm pretty pumped for this conference now. It's like what, 3-4 hours out?

It would make sense. They always have a major third party game demoed, and considering how well COD4 did on 360...

Awesome. Wasn't sure of the time difference -- I'm in Scotland. Sounds like I'll be having some MW2 for dinner tonight.

Is it really a surprise that they're going to demo the game there? I would have been surprised if it wasn't demoed at the MS press conference.

I hope that they have another beta so I can play a little of the game a little early.

I am ready...I have it ready to stream from 3 different places in case one of them fails on my laptop that is off my work network  :)

Yeah that was always going to happen. Along with an announcement of something exclusive, be it maps, beta, whatever.

<bitchy comment>Microsoft always use E3 to get the perception that their multiplatform games are "exclusive" out there.</>

But alas, we'll see the first Modern Warfare 2 footage in a few hours. I for one am stoked for that.
