Looking at the following monitors. I want to run a 2 monitor setup so I can have the consoles on one side and my PC on the other. Looking for great picture quality and low input lag. I have a BenQRLH24 but that's going to go into my son's room to use. Thoughts, suggestions, and criticisms, please. Looking for 24" to 27"

They are both good but if you really want low input lag you're going to have to look at something like this,

https://www.amazon.com/Asus-VG248QE-24-inch-Ergonomic-Back-lit/dp/B00B2HH7G0?ie=UTF8&SubscriptionId=14H876SFAKFS0EHBYQ02&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B00B2HH7G0&linkCode=xm2&psc=1&tag=eggcoupon-20

Or if not, I would get the Asus in your selection.

I don't care that much about lag. Mainly want the best picture. Of course I'd love best of all.

I have some astro a40 TR that I will be using. Also might get a soundboard to have on the desk. I don't need built in speakers.

If I had to choose between the two that you posted, I would go with the Dell. I've had the 25" version of the Asus, and I hated it and returned it to amazon.

I'm actually a little surprised that you don't get this one: https://www.amazon.com/BenQ-RL2460HT-Console-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B00ITORJRQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469080531&sr=8-1&keywords=benq+rl2460ht

I don't know if that's the one you were referring to in your post, but it's often considered one of the best overall 60hz gaming monitors and is used by a lot of people for consoles too. I'm actually using it right now on my PC, and it's great.

If you want to save a little money, this is a good one too and is also used by a lot of people for console gaming: https://www.amazon.com/BenQ-RL2455HM-24-Inch-Console-Monitor/dp/B007HSKSMI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1469080531&sr=8-2&keywords=benq+rl2460ht

I have the latter one you posted about but i do not like the colors it produces. It is also not as sharp of a picture when playing games or viewing the dashboard. I have tried numerous setting and played with various scenarios and it just didn't look amazing. It had amazing response time though.

I would second this monitor suggestion. Boyfriend has it on his PC and it's great. I use his PC instead of mine for work actually (remote drafting from home), and when he's not home for games.

This one has good reviews IDK how it compares to the 24" other than it is a bigger screen.

So picture quality is good? I have seen this one come up in numerous scenarios and it looked good as well. I hate that I am a sucker for the bezel free displays.

I own both the monitors you guys are talking about, linked below. While the Asus is overkill in terms of refresh rate for current consoles, with consoles the colors really pop, it has a very high contrast level, which goes along nicely with the deep blacks it produces. The colors are not washed out like the BenQ as well and it's just as fast when it comes to consoles. Though the BenQ is also great as well, just compared side by side to the Asus, it's not really a contest which looks better. The downside to the Asus is there is only one HDMI input, though if you wanna hook your PC up to it as well, which I suggest since it does do 144hz, it has a DVI input for your PC.

@evildeathsyth: yes, I was genuinely surprised at the quality especially for the price. I'm building a PC myself over the next few months and it's my monitor of choice.
