My friend played the xbox 360 version all day today and had nothing but positive news. It took him around 8 hours to finish on normal difficultly. According to him, it is a continuation of the original game, while being a significant improvement and with the ending obviously leading to a third installment of the series.
MW2 campaign is fantastic (no spoilers)
