So I got home early this morning at 5:30am after a 20 hour work day to find both my PSVita and my 3DS chewed to shit. The vita is a total loss, as it won't turn on and no image will appear on screen. The 3DS still works but has some major teeth marks and holes all over it. Guess I can still sell my 32gb vita memory stick and make a little money cause I am not buying a new vita anytime soon. Ill try and clean up my 3DS as best as I can but it will never be the same haha. RIP my friends, you shall be missed.

The culprit...

That and why didn't you have them put up?

This is what happens when you leave a dog alone in a house for 20 hours. That's his way of telling you he is being neglected. Nice job.

I feel for you duder! I still have a few Famiclone controllers that my previous dog chewed up... Oh the good old days...

Easy fix:

1. Post pics on reddit

2. Get to the front page

3. get tons of Nintendo/Sony shit for free.

this. you really shouldn't adopt a dog if you aren't at home for like, at least half the day to take care of it.

Go chew up some of the dog's toys in revenge.

Sounds like your dog is a Microsoft fan.

What a bummer. Kinda surprised a dog would even be interested in chewing those, but I guess in lieu of any suitable substitutes...

Your dog is a dick

@maxxs: @mb: My wife was home with him all day. I had to stay late at work to finalize a large project before Thursday. He is not neglected at all.

@believer258: I did have them put up on a shelf. My dog just has a crazy vertical leap. He could be in the NBA.

My cat never chews up my stuff.

I don't have a cat

My pet birds used to wander around the house and would chew on controller wires and such. My Genesis controllers were practically made of electric tape. Wireless controllers becoming standard was pretty handy.

I think the wife owes you reimbursement, or put her in a crate. I would

#17 Posted by HolyCrapItsAdam (448 posts) -

@marcsman: I'll just use this as leverage to get an iPad haha

Damn. That's too bad. It kind of reminds me of when I was a kid and one day found my dog chewed the audio/video cables along with the power cable to my Ps1. At the time, neither I nor my parents knew that all we had to do is buy replacement cables to fix it. I ended up never playing it again. So, I know what it feels like.

I'd spank him pretty hard and say naughty a couple times. If he chews up your PS4 a beating will be necessary.

at least you have a lovable dog, it could have been crazy ants!

Sorry but some people really should not own dogs. Not only is leaving them alone for that amount of time pretty irresponsible, but you also left them for that duration with access to stuff that if chewed, could have easily freaking killed them. My friend's dog ate a small plastic toy once and it had pretty serious ramifications.

Judgey people being judgey before they have any information.

Your dog wanted to play Monster Hunter but got frustrated, and went to play Persona 4: Golden only to find out Chie has a new voice.

Same thing happened to me. I ate my Vita and 3DS.

My cat has cost me a lot of money, chewing through wires. I feel your pain.

Dog thinks that videogames limit your potential.

Did you not have your handhelds armored up? My 3DS has a clear hard plastic shell and I keep it inside a rigid zip-up case at all times.

I like how people jump to the conclusion that this guy is some neglectful scumbag who is constantly away from home for 20 hours on a regular basis with no one else at home.

Shit happens, sorry duder

So the 3DS still works but the Vita is gone? Guess this was the work of a Nintendog

Man, I was pretty bummed out when my dog ate one of my Star Wars action figures when I was a kid.

I want to see a picture of the culprit!

I guess the nintendium myth is true, even dogs can't ruin a 3DS.

What's with everyone throwing around the idea that he's neglecting his dog after he explained that his wife was there? Must those interested in videogames turn everything into high drama?

Your dog is a microsoft plant, he's attempting to destroy the competition and will soon start barking in a way that sounds eerily like the words 'kinect' and 'input one'

The worst I've had from my current dog is his fascination with shoes, sleeps on a pile of them that he'll track down and sleep with his head in a woman's shoe every night. Ended up finding a present in my shoe the one morning, would've been fine if I'd been awake enough to look before jamming my foot into the shoe.

This. It's so easy to sit behind a computer screen and point out flaws in other people (without bothering to find out the truth).

And this is why I don't like pets in my house.

I think the saddest part is that the thought of a significant other in the house doesn't even seem to cross these judgmental peoples minds, must be a lack of a SO on their part :P

My dog likes chewing out the crotches of underwear. It is super creepy.

#50 Edited by Vuud (1997 posts) -

Oh no! Those pics are way worse than I imagined!

I'd get rid of that dog! No pet is worth that!! That reminds me of when my dog chewed up all our Exosquad toys when I was a kid.

Sorry for your lots. D:
