Myspace announcing LittleBigPlanet beta?

I just went on my Myspace page to finally notice a box saying "LittleBigPlanet. Play. Create. Share. Sign up for the beta now!".  Really I don't pay much attention to a lot of the crap that pops up in the boxes on myspace so this could have been there forever.  Anyway I did click it and all I got was their news page.  Was I too late, premature, or does Myspace have it all wrong.
