 my Graphics Card Nvidia Geforce 8800 gt shit the bed and now i want a new one. something under 200. im really just looking for something a little better, nothing crazy. the 8800 was able to play crysis until it finally died after 3 years.

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_gdr.101026-1503)

Newegg.com is your friend. You can sort by price and how well it's reviewed. It's super easy to find the best stuff at the price you want. I recommend checking it out.

The GTX460 is basically the 8800 equivalent of this generation of video cards. I've been using one in my new Core i5 Sandy Bridge computer and it runs everything perfectly. You can pick it up on NewEgg for $125 after mail-in rebate.

GTX550Ti for mid range build. 

GTX570 for a high end build.
anything over he 570 is overkill now, unless you are using a big monitor. 
What resolution is your monitor?
