So basically when it comes to online on my xbox 360 i only got it to play with my friend that i cant really hang out with anymore otherwise. We used to play gears of war nightly but just gave up on them ever fixing the multiplayer issues. To much host advantage. Then we switched to call of duty. but i got rid of it. I cant stand that game. It feels so slow paced and boring to me. We both got bad company 2. He got rid of it saying that its boring as hell. (i love that damn game to hell though) Now were both looking for a shooter to play together online but dont know of any that still have people playing and is fun. Any help?

Call of Duty is definitely not slow paced... anyway try Halo 3 (or ODST), there's still plenty of people playing it and it's a lot of fun. If you have a PS3 pick up Killzone 2.

You could try Left 4 dead 2, Team fortress 2 or Perfect Dark.

call of duty is very slow paced to me. get 10 people in a game and 7 of them are camping in some corner.  i wish i had a ps3 but my xbox collections to big to switch and i dont want to buy a new system now. maybe i will go back to halo 3. we used to play that a ton. i guess ill think about that.

Does it have to be an FPS? If not, just wait for Lost Planet 2 or Red Dead Redemption.

doesnt have to an fps. but lost planet is not for me. i hate not having a real hard aim feature and the sprint is just lame in that game. i hear the campaign looks great though. im gonna get red dead redemption too but im not expecting good things from that on the multiplayer. much like gtaIV

And you consider Bad Company 2 fast pace...?

Your logic baffles me.

rush mode in bad company is very fast paced. especially if your the attacking team. and now that the games been out for a little the amount of snipers has dwindled. there are helicopters and tanks and boats and all sorts of shit to blow up and drive. dude camping in a room upstairs? blow up the house... very fun and much more fast paced than call of duty. but this is not the point. im looking for something we both might enjoy.

I'd suggest Lead & Gold but I guess it would be too similar to Lost Planet.

Don't play TF2 on the Xbox. It's a very sad version of the game.

Yeah but I couldn't think of much other shooters to add except some XBLA shooters or PC version of Lead and Gold.

You could always play some good ol' CS 1.6. You said his computer isn't really gaming-capable, but unless it is 10+ years old it should be able to handle CS 1.6, and I believe there are still a fair amount of people playing it.
