My NES bit it a little while back and I've been wondering what I should do: should I order a new 72 pin connector? Should I just buy a new machine or is there a decent 3rd party knock off out there?

I hit up all the pawn shops and junk stores in the area. One place has a couple for sale, but they want about $60 for one.

I've thought about getting something like a Retron3 but my SNES and Genesis works perfectly, 100% of the time guaranteed to boot. (Presuming the game itself works) So that seems like a waste of money.

I did take the NES apart and try and see what could be wrong, and the 72 pin connector is messed up. Bent to hell and one of the pins is actually cracked/broken.

So anyone got any advice or suggestions?
