To all new GB users (yes there has been a significant amount of you guys), 
 
A friendly reminder to get new avatars for your GB profile, because GB is really tight and it's really easy to remember people from their profile pictures.

It's quite funny how 90% of users with the Mario avatar are bots or spammers as the default selected 'fanboy' selection is Nintendo.  
 
Makes it much simpler to know which threads are possibly troublesome though.

I know that I remember a few folks from their avatars. I once got really confused though when two people used the same one...that was bad. So don't do that either! Find something unique.

What's the best resolution to upload avatar images with? Just uploaded a pic (512x512) and it is blurry as hell.

Just take someone else's avatar, but just don't take mine.

I never bother with avatars.  I don't care enough to make the effort of getting one.  I've been on here since early '09 and don't have one.  I've had my Gamespot account since early '05 and have never had one there, either.

The forum has a billion in forum avatars. You type something in and a bunch of images come up. You don't even have to upload anything.
