New Xbox 360 Dashboard, Like it or Loath it?

Ok so Im sure most of you have seen the new Dash and its Features, what do you guys think of it? I dont much care for the new look however its kinda growing on me. Also I think im going to have to get a NetFlix account, I mean 10,000 movies on Que, I like it. The party system is also cool but not really sure how its gonna work, does that mean all Multiplayer games are gonna have to use a party system now?

Yeah, it looks cool. I like all the other features they're coming out with too, like Netflix and the games that you can play live with your avatars.

Haven't read much about it (i'd rather be surprised), but it looks okay so far.

Obviously we won't know until we've tried it if we like it or not...

I don't like the avatar thing but the rest seems interesting.

I think it looks pretty nice, although it is abit of a drastic change from what we currently have. And the party chat is a much longed for feature, but the rest of it i couldn't really give a dam about.

The nice new look and up to 8 player chat support is all i'm interested in.

The avatars seem awsome and i could go either way on the dashboard look but i do like the blades a lot better

I already have Netflix, so I'm digging that part. I think it'll be okay as long as the menu itself doesn't lag and we have the option of ditching the lame avatars.

its meh, i really feel indifferent to the whole thing. I wish they would just give us a choice about what we want rather then forcing it on us

Ya, avatar system I don`t like, but I can`t wait to get my hands of the mini dashboard that comes up with the Guide button. Xbox Guide has needed a revamp for awhile now.

It looks pretty cool.  The group aspect of it is pretty cool, and the Netflix thing is awesome.

Id rather have the blades.

I'm looking forward to it. I'm really tired of the current dashboard and how terribly organized everything is. The new dash looks slick, the avatars look a bit better than Miis which is a plus, and the new guide looks fantastic. It looks like a very promising update and I wish it was already available.

One thing im curious about is if there going to issue refunds of some sort for Themes and Pictures packs, seeing how we cant use them anymore (Im assuming)

I really like it, especially the group chat/party thing.

I don't think it is as big of a change as Microsoft is saying it is, but I think there are some great new features in it.  Larger private chats and being able to rip a game disc to the harddrive sound great. 

Absolutely despise it, the blades system is unique, the new one is just a juiced up Media Center.

It's amazing. But the current GUI, c'mon, its pretty laggy haha. I mean, when im in a game, and i open my guide, it takes pretty long to pop up, load everything, and pop back down, and usually I get killed online that way. -sigh

But yeah I know, it shares RAM etc wtih everything else even the game being played so.. Eh.

The only thing I care to know about the new dashboard at this time is how fast it is.  The current dashboard is slow as hell in just about everything.

I love it. The avatars aren't that bad either.

I personally like the look of it. So what if it copies the Media Center look. And if it makes it easier to find things on XBL I will like it even more.

I hate it :( I always liked the blades, they just needed to be reorganized IMO. This one looked soulless and boring... hopefully they will at least let us use our themes from the blades or that would suck for all the people who paid for them.

I hate it it's a mixture of Vista and Wii channels

It looks pretty nice so far, but I'll reserve my judgements until it's actually released. Though I have to admit, the avatars look pretty swanky.

it's all good and pretty but the avatars look so "wii"... it doesn't suit X very well IMO.

I love it, I think it looks great, mostly because I was never a huge fan of the blades design. Also the idea of unlocking clothing and stuff for my avatar seems pretty cool, better than achievements for achievements sake I guess.


I bet you any money being Micro$oft they will charge money for packs of new clothes, other than that though, all round EPIC WIN

I love it, they have simplified the Dashboard, made it look cooler, gave us the option for instals, netflix, eight way player chat, and made things like avatars optional. I don't see why everyone was complaining at first, the avatars are optional, you don't have to use them.

I can honestly say I am not a fan.

It looks quite good.

At first when I saw it, I was not very impressed but after listening to Major Nelsons latest podcast and seeing more videos on it, I am really pumped for it and can not wait for fall.

I really like the new dashboard, it's damn sleek. But, I really wish that it were optional, you know incase it's not as good as it looks. But I feel like there are too many new dashboard-specific features in it that could not be done in the old dashboard, so it most likely will not happen that way.

i like it , and the pictures major posted when themes are applied make it look all the better

I dont really like the avatars, they just dont have any charm about them. Other than that, the idea to simplify things should be useful.

Looks nice. I think the theme mock-up posted a few days ago made it look even better. I hope that's a sign of things to come.
