NHL 09 wins "best game they did'nt play"? wtf

That award should have gone to Valkyria Chronicles,  The fact that the game was not even a nominee itself is disappointing.

I was quite happy with this decision. Perhaps one of them played it? Most likely Vinny I'd imagine.

Thats true, I just remember in one of the pod casts they said that none of them played it, but heard only good things about it.

Definitely agree with the call. NHL 09 is hands down the best sports game I've ever played. Boo. Yah.

It was an opinion about a game they didn't play. I found that a lot of people enjoyed NHL 09 on GiantBomb, so good pick. If I could have picked for them, I would have voted for Tiger Woods 09.

I actually did not even know about NHL 09 until I saw the nominees,  I heard much more about Valkryia Chronicles.

I'm pretty sure Valkyria Chronicles was a nominee. But, being best game they didn't play, you can't exactly expect that award to be too really accurate or serious.

No it was Chronicles something but not Valkyria Chronicles.

It was Tales of Vesperia

But yeah, NHL 09 sounds like an awesome time if you like hockey. I have no problem with it winning

NHL09 is the best sports game available. Tales of Vesperia owned so much
