Nintendo 64 Help needed!

Hey guys, I recently got hold of an n64 but the stick on the controller is sort of messed up. 
I've managed to play through doom 64 by only using the d-pad and i'm just wondering if anyone could suggest a few other games where the analogue stick is not needed

That sucks, man. The N64 Controller, as weird as that thing is, was built AROUND  the use of an analog stick(i.e built for Super Mario 64). That system is all about analog fun. I think if you're looking for games with D-pad support, you should look for old fighting games, like Mortal Kombat Trilogy. If you're serious about your N64, see if you can find a working controller, or you're going to be locked out of most of the game's hits.

Ebay dude. Your looking at a couple of quid tops.

You use the D-pad with Kirby 64 and Pokemon Stadium.  I really can't think of any other games at the moment.

Not worth it without a stick.  Buy a controller, like above said on Ebay or similar.  Mad Catz is fine.  If you really want to use it a lot, you may want several.  Those analog sticks weren't designed as well as modern ones and they can't stand too much wear and tear.

Get Clayfighter 64 and Killer Instinct.

Yeah, the consensus is to buy a new a controller. What's it going to set you back, $2, $5 dollars max?

I will say this now, DON'T get the first Mario Party, it will destroy your analog stick.

Cheers guys, im hoping to sort out the controller situation soon, and hopefully grab a expansion pack so i can play some perfect dark.

Has anybody mentioned Mischief Makers? That doesn't even work with the analog stick at all.
