Ogle This Incredibly Huge Metroid Prime Artwork

In honor of Metroid Prime Trilogy's recent release, Nintendo sent over some insanely high-res artwork of Samus Aran and friends that I figured I'd pass along. We're talking widths and heights in the multiple thousands of pixels, so this stuff will serve as backgrounds on even the largest desktops, if you're the sort of person who adorns your computer with images of video game characters. Heck, you could probably go down to your local print shop and make a poster out of some of these. Do what you want!

Man, Metroid Prime has great art. I'm definitely going to use a few of these as desktop images (as it was said-they're gigantic).

haha 1900x1200 is still classed as ridiculously  huge these days.

Loving the purplish one, with just her helmet. Samus is one of the greatest heroes in video games.

I already have a wallpaper version of the 3rd pic, that was like 4 months ago when i got it

People in Retro know how to draw and make good things.

Yea I know but it's tiny, it's looks like a leaflet, they should have put a proper book in there with art from all three games.

Is the white suit from the second prime game?

The big blue Dark Samus is a little wide-set compared to the white Light Samus. Is that intentional?
 
@Linkyshinks: Nintendo offering premium collector editions for their legendary first party IPs? Nope, that'd be a little too obvious.

Too bad not one has her face visible. Zero Suit withstanding...

Either giantbomb or nintendo ruined it's high res ness  and they broke about 16 laws of digital printing formats and digital graphic design when they converted it.
 
 They are now a horrible looking compressed  jpeg  (not as big of crime)  and they are now only around 600x375 pixels and 30 kb where a decent high res jpeg would be at least 1mb.  Turning it into a bad compressed jpeg alone would ruin it for print (use a raw or tiff it is better for printing and photo work)  but then giantbomb/nintendo killed the res and that flushed the rest of the thrill down the toliet..
 
thanks anyway though I guess next time don't ruin it by turning it into crappy compressed web formats and shrinking the hell out of it. Blowing it up on my 30 inch monitors with a res of  2560 by 1600+  as wallpaper or photoshop  is a pixelated nightmare and you can forget  printing them out even a high res JPEG look like ass printing and going  to a pro print shop like kinkos or whatever would make it look even worse and  they would most likey turn you away saying they cant print it because they don't want to look bad when it turns out as crap..
