I feel like that little boy in elementary school who walks up to a group of kids who are chillin out on the playground and wants to be in their club. Being new to Giant Bomb, I feel obligated to make a very clever or witty post earning myself some street cred within the community, however, the words can never come to me when I most need them (I'll probably think of something really hilarious while I'm trying to sleep tonight.. Damn..) Anyway, I guess the purpose of this is to say "Hey guys!" and thanks for being so welcoming. I'll leave you with a question. What is the main game that comes to mind when you crave nostalgia? Mine would probably be Crash Bandicoot, it was the first game I ever owned.
"Oh hey guys! Can I be in your club!?"

Hey, welcome to the forums.
For me I think it has to be GoldenEye, I spent a ridiculous amount of time playing that game back in the day.
Hello and welcome.
I have three games that immediately come to mind when I think of my biggest nostalgia. Super Mario 3, Secret of Mana, and Suikoden.
Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast is my go to nostalgia game.
Welcome to the forums.
First game that comes to my mind strangely enough is Dead Angle for the SMS. I still have the music burned into my brain over 2 decades later.
Welcome, good sir. May our lands bring you great joy.
And when I look for nostalgia, I think of Final Fantasy IV and Chrono Trigger.

Jediiiissss?
You look like a very young Tim Schafer impersonator.
FYI: Chrome just auto corrected Schafer to cockchafer
Hey, man! Welcome!
Yeesh, I have to pick one? I'll say Yoshi's Island. So good.
Although playing any NES or SNES game will bring some nostalgic feelings, I remember me and my friends playing the shit out of Super Smash Bros. for the N64. In fact, I think we smuggled an N64 and controllers into our elementary school and rather than going outside to play during our lunch break, we sneaked into the part of the library where they kept all the TVs on those trollies and would play SSB for the entire break. Of course this all ended when one day the librarian caught us and chased us out. Fortunately, in high school, we took the game cube to school and would play the Smash Bros game during our lunch and had no threat of being caught by the librarian, in fact, she joined us for a few matches and was better than some of the guys.
I only just started actively participating in the community myself so welcome!. For me it would definitely have to be Link to the Past, but the music from Pokemon Gold and Silver always gets me in a state of nostalgia too. Whoever put that toggle in Heartgold and Soulsilver was a genius.

I quoted a few people who already mentioned some of my favorites. Now i gotta pick one so.... Streets of Rage 2Welcome, matey! Day of the Tentacle always rushes me through with nostalgia.
Welcome.
For me, it has to be Metal Gear Solid. That game's pretty awesome and I spend many-a-day playing it when I was younger.
It's a trap. All this welcoming is a ruse. You have been warned
Also... Scooby Doo: Cyber Chase and Super Smash Bros. Melee. It's a tie.
I will be your best friend if you send me your credit card details. I am a nigerian prince who needs some money to save my people, who will then work hard to ensure that we pay it back tenfold!
Excitebike - first video game I ever played.
Star Wars Episode I and Star Wars: Episode I - Jedi Power Battles both trigger massive nostalgia, particularly the former as I still remember getting it for xmas.
It's a little early to call it "nostalgia" but everytime I play Gridlock on the Gears series I get a twinge of happiness as that was the first current gen thing I played.
Heya! Your avatar makes me think of a young Tim Schafer.
The sprite that is my avatar is probably the best representation of my nostalgia, it's pretty much cemented into my psyche.
Don't worry about sounding funny or witty, and don't worry about "street cred." What we do here is being ourselves, and we grow to like and dislike each other based on our preferences. There's no club here, we're all members.
<--- My answer btw.
Hey new guy.
Mine would probably be Super Smash Bros. I wasn't very interested in games before my friends and I started playing that game.
Donkey Kong Country 2 That was the first game that I played obsessively. The soundtrack takes me back instantly.
