Want: Surprises!
Don't Want: Staged bullshit of people playing games and companies trying and pathetically failing to get one up on the competition.

Want- Original Vita Games worth caring about. I love me some Uncharted and stuffs, but it's not what I want out of a handheld and I want to be convinced to buy a vita. That screen...
Do not want- Bioware to announce DA3. A trailer or announcement would be exciting but I would much rather they wait so I can be confident that they are not rushing it again.
Want:I want this to be the year of the turn based! I want to see games put brain power first and not clicking buttons faster then other people.
Don't want:More generic shooters.
Want: New console announced by either Sony or Microsoft
Don't want: Boring press conferences that put too much emphasis on things I don't like such as Kinect or Move.
You know what I REALLY want but will never ever get? BloodRayne 3! Not that stupid XBLA game where they completely fucked with Raynes character. Having her injured by light was soooo dumb. She is a dhampir she doesn't get injured by sunlight! I want a proper 3D Bloodrayne 3 that picks up where the last left off.
Want: Games that want to defy me and put me through open diverse levels with all kinds of challenges and rewarding me for ACTUALLY doing something rather than flashing XP on the screen whenever I fart.
Don't Want: Kinect bullshit.
Want: Something embarrassingly memorable to come from one of the press conferences that turns into a short-lived meme.
Don't Want: A lot of press conference time spent on games that don't appeal to the game enthusiast demographic, such as Ubisoft's Your Fitness and EA's Charm Girls Club.
Want: Mr. Caffeine, very very exercise, you'll be sucked, laser tag, AT&T, Skittles, NEVER, etc.
Don't want: Long boring demos of known quantities.

E3 this year is going to be pants.Wat.
E3 THIS YEAR IS GOING TO BE PANTS.
MAN HOW PANTS IS IT GONNA BE!
Straight edge or boot cut?
Something worthwhile for consoles. My gaming has been almost exclusively on the PC with a few exclusives on PS3 here and there. I feel like there is a serious lack in long lasting titles on consoles and would love to see something new and exciting, but I doubt that is going to happen unless they announce new consoles as well.

Don't you mean Just Cause 4? :3

@YetiAntics: New consoles usually mean new IP's so depending on what MS and Sony has ready, they might show a ton of new IP's

Some news on next gen consoles.
I think it's been pretty clearly stated that no one other than Nintendo is going to be doing Next gen console stuff at E3. I am however looking forward to the potential of next gen games being at least announced. But even then don't expect platform announcements or actually getting to see the game unless it's also running on a PC.
I want what I've always gotten, actually. Lots of funny and slightly under-prepared conferences with lovable dopes on stage. (Seriously, good job Jeremy.)
I get a bit checked out at all the talk about MS's latest additions to the Xbox Live menu. As a non-American (Canadian) all the press conference time spent on ESPN, Hulu, etc, etc, applications doesn't apply to me since I don't get most of 'em.
If I'm being realistic I'd say some good Kinect games would be something nice to see, especially since I think Microsoft is going to lean on the Kinect to get them to the end of this cycle.
I'd like not to see a predictable conference. Overall E3 could show nothing crazy and still be an exciting show for any fan of video games. But if all anyone shows are known quantities then everyone comes away feeling like the industry as a whole is stagnant.
Want: Ubisoft to announce details, a bad-ass trailer, and a release date for a new Rainbow Six game.
Don't want: Microsoft announcing more non-gaming shit that I don't care about to clutter up XBox Live.
Can I change my want to...
Want: More crazy stories about the Sherlock adventure games
Don't Want: Less alcohol during the podcasts.
I would just like to see the Wii U play a game. I just want to see how a game runs on the Wii U. That's all, really.
And I would like to hear more about Bioshock.
Also, I'd like to see more coverage of PC games (I guess I can't hope to see that during the Sony or Nintendo conferences though...>_>)
Want: Vita exclusives to make me excited about that platform
Don't want: Social/Casual focus for more than 10 minutes at any given press conference.
Want: More Halo 4 info, more Alien IP's (Yeah never gonna happen after Gearbox push theirs back). Cos i'm a massive nerd i wouldnt mind them annoucing better firmware for the extisting Kinect. (Better and more accurate movements)
Dont: NO MORE NEW 1ST PERSON SHOOTERS!!!! OR MODERN WAREFARE 4

Want: Awful moments that resonate throughout the industry.
Do not want: Mediocre shit.
This. I've given up on E3 as a "good" show. Give me the forced applause, bad speeches, and awkward demos please.
Microsoft: Focus hugely on games, particularly new IP's and what they have coming in the future. I'm sure there will be some Kinect/social media stuff and that's fine, but don't alienate the viewers by repeating what happened last year. No one watching cares about Kinect, and unless they can somehow prove it can be used for 'core games', that's not going to change.
Sony: Prove that the Vita is worth while, build up a good library of games and actually has a future. Don't show us bar graphs or talk about games that may or may not be out in the next decade. I also think that unlike Kinect, Move has zero future. Don't waste the time with it.
Nintendo: Again, big focus on the upcoming games for the 3DS and Wii U. The 3DS is slowly running out of steam again and the Wii U needs to have a decent launch, or else they'll have a repeat of the 3DS. Their conference last year felt very phony, with a lot of announcements like "there's a new Smash Brothers!" that apparently hadn't even started production yet, the producer hadn't even been told he was making it. And where exactly is this alleged Pikmin 3? Big announcements are great, but if it's all hot air, what's the point?
