Here's a new image from Duke Nukem Forever. 3D Realms just released it. It shows a lot of enemies. They look pretty good. I don't know what else to say. Keeping up with this game makes a man tired. So, so tired.

I have a strange feeling that this game isn't vaporware and that it is, in fact a game. GOTY 2015?!

Is a new DN Forever image actually supposed to hype anyone? Really? C'mon 3D realms, I hope that's not what you think. The game is still probably another fucking 5+ years off, and I'll be surprised if it even happens within that timeline, I don't see who would possibly care to keep up with a SINGLE new screenshot. I loved Duke, and he'll always have a place in my heart, but goddamn...I think they should just let Forever die, cancel it and tell everyone, so it can be over with. I just know its gonna come out and just be an average shooter and do nothing special after all this long wait.

It is impossible for this game to live up to the hype that has been created and when/if it is released it will be either a bad game or just ok.

Pig Cops now wear Gears of War sci-fi football armor like every other FPS that has been released in the last five years. The only thing that seems to be on target in that picture is the updated Octobrain, but even that looks like a Doom reject. (Which ironically makes sense seeing how the original looked like a Doom reject as well :P)

Wow, that actually looks pretty good. I personally am a bit excited for this title, Duke 3D was my first game ever (yeah, what a childhood I had lol) so this game definitely holds a special place in my heart. I really hope it doesn't turn out like Prey, which was decent, but not quite what I would want from Duke Nukem.

that screen shot took 3D Realms 2 years to make, so respect thier hard work and keep admiring the image while we wait for the game to come out

Those enemies look cooler than I remember from the one trailer they released a while back.  I just got a small bit of hope for this game.

I can't help but get a "Gears of War, but not as good" feel from this picture.

And I didn't even like Gears (PC) that much.

sadly just as they are near finishing the game new consoles will be released and then they have to refine the screenshots before refining the game and so the cycle shall continue.

actually the textures look kind of flat on those guys.

I have a feeling this game is actually completely finished and 3D Realms is just milking that sweet hype for all it's worth.

The Chupacabra is buying the living SHIT out of this game whenever it finally comes out.

maybe its like the Simpsons Game, it's a parody of the genre? hopefully. i hope i don't have to walk into a room to see this on the screen and i actually have ask "you playin Duke or Gears?"  thats like 5 words wasted that coulda been used to tell the guy more facts about myself like "i be fuckin hoes, steady." i fuckin look forward to seeing more scumbag comedy from video games. GTA4 and Saints Row Duece are startin to fade away already.

Umm, yeah pretty cool... now ship it! Anyway I actually don't even care if it comes out or not but it's good that at least developers have illusion of making some progress in working on this game. I don't want to think how much money they wasted on this throughout the years ;) And yeah, strippers would help greatly in advertising DNF :D
