Hey GB forums, soon I'm going to be starting plans for a 48 hour stream in raising money for Child's Play but I have hit a brick wall, I'm trying to think of a game that can be played by a large amount of people 4-16 people but I can't think of many popular games that people would like to watch.

I would really appreciate some opinions and advice!

I dont think any one will have fun playing a game, or watching the same game for 48 hours straight. but I dont think i know of any that have local play for up to 16 players because the xbox and playstation can only support up to 4 controllers at once. but if you want to play over live, or psn then battlefield 3.

System link some consoles and play Halo/MW/BF3 would be my best guess.

If watching Desert Bus for 5 years has taught me anything it's that the quality of the game doesn't matter. If the on screen personalities are interesting then that's what keeps people watching. It was about 2 hours into the first Desert Bus that they realized people would donate if they do stupid stuff when someone donated $75 to have one of them chug 2 liters of egg nog.

Playstation 3 supports 7 controllers, not 4. Not many games support 7 controllers but there are a few. The NHL games come to mind.

I'm disappointed that this is not a thread about a live stream entitled Opinions For Charity.

Europa Universalis 3. It would take about 48 hours to finish a campaign too.

Maybe take a cue from Giantbomb and don't limit it to 1 game.
