I think that was filmed before. I wouldn't expect him to be on any features for a bit. I know I wouldn't want to for at least a few days, probably a week.
This makes me really sad. I could always tell by the way Patrick talked about his father on the podcast a few times that they were close. Considering how close I am to Patricks age and my father to his father's age, I really really feel for him. Much love, chin up, cherish the memories and never forget.
Very Sorry to hear that. I lost my dad When I was 27 and needless to say, it was awful. I hope you can find comfort in knowing that your dad got to see you do what you want to do with your life and succeed at it.
I'm so sorry Patrick. You're a fantastic member of the GB staff, and your father must have been extremely proud of you. You and I are very close to the same age, and I'm getting married in a month, so I understand how hard this must be for you now. Nothing any of us can say will make it better, but just know that we all are thinking about you.
I may rip on Patrick a bit on Quick Looks or whatever, but I'd never wish something like this upon him. I'm really sorry to hear about his loss and hope he finds the strength to make it through. I wish nothing but the best for he and his family and, being the same age as him, take his advice to heart.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family Patrick. My dad also passed away around my second time graduating from college. I was excited to have him come visit me again, but then he was gone. We had just mended our relationship as well. I'm sorry.
