Ok here's the deal. I'm a console gamer, for the most part. But recently a friend of mine introduced me to Sins of a Solar Empire and now i find myself on my laptop a lot more often than usual. This has led me to notice that my computer has a pretty big problem. Now i have a laptop that has an SSD drive ( the C: Drive) which is set to be the main drive, meaning it has all the OS stuff on it and internet files and whatnot. This drive is about 50GB which didnt seem like much at first, but i found that i could easily get all my gaming files (steam, warcraft 3, starcraft, what have you) on my D: drive. The D: drive is about 300 GB which is more than enough for me. Anyway heres the problem at hand. I keep running into problems with the C: drive filling up. I constantly have to delete all temp files, all cookies, empty the cache, and yet theres still only about 25 MB left. I went through the whole C: drive and got rid files that some games i owned wanted to put in there, saves for games i dont play anymore, games for windows live, etc. and yet it still fills up so quickly. There are important updates for the computer that i cant download because there isnt enough space, and even if i do get a chance to fit them in, they wont install properly.
and perhaps worst of all, my damn porn stops loading halfway through the video
Joking aside, I was wondering if you duders had any tips for trimming files from my drive. Maybe any tips to relocate files or any common unnecessary folders i can just delete. I should also mention that its windows vista, so i cant select the folders and tell it to move to a different drive. cant even install the windows 7 i bought because it needs 17 GB of space. guffaw
TLDR: C: drive super full. Porn wont load. Help please
