Hey duders! Simple question, borderline stupid. I ordered a copy of Baja: Edge of Control for PS3 thinking is was the US version. I received a copy with PEGI symbols instead of ESRB symbols. Is this going to change the game in any way?

PS3 doesn't have region-locking.  Otherwise, the game is probably identical to the US version.

PS3 is region free so unless they put some type of region lock on it (like Persona 4 Arena did) then you should be fine. Also the game content should be unchanged, usually if anything is changed it's violent content.

Well that's great, thanks guys. I actually just walked in the door and am taking the PS3 system update. Once that's done I'll try the game. I appreciate all the help!

The only game to be region-locked on the PS3 is Persona 4 Arena.

Unless it's region locked (and only a few PS3 games are) the only thing you'll have to look out for is weird British spelling. Like Aluminium. Colour.

I find it strange you went with "weird" instead of just "different", especially as aluminium actually makes sense if you know the origins of the element. I think the dumbest part of the spelling differences is "z" vs the use of "s" as the "s" too similar, far far far too similar.

OP the only problem I see here is that you're still going to end up playing Baja...
