petition: bring back "Soulja Boy Award" to 2011 - General Discussion

first post here even that I have been a member/fan for 2 years now..

Can we get back the award for those who like to drink and get drunk or smoke and get high? Or should I just assume everyone in the giant bomb crew will go with Saints Row 3?

When they did that award it was referential and timely, to do that joke in 2011 would just be stupid. Also, who the hell talks about Soulja Boy anymore?

No one gives a fuck about Soulja Boy anymore. People called him a one hit wonder and they were all right.

My mistake. I forgot how popular he was with such hits as that other song and the song he did with that one guy that was on the radio that time.

edit: wait, something just occurred to me. Are you saying he was never a one hit wonder? If so then I apologize for being a smartass and I fully agree. If you're saying that he's still relevant in any capacity then my original comment still stands.

Because the Giantbomb crew knows, Lil' B "Based God" > Soulja Boy

But really though, its understandable why they cut it out. It was a joke award from a viral video about a game made two years ago from an rapper people only remembered four years ago. That's almost as bad as having the "Most Winning" Charlie Sheen award this year. Uggggggggggggghhhhhhh
