I will only preorder a PS4 and XBOX One when I know the exact release date of the console. I don't like not knowing that its 17th of November (for example).

Of course, the fact that I haven't preordered yet might mean I miss out on one come launch day but that is a chance will just have to take.

I am also waiting on a deal with the console and a game. Most of the preorder prices for the games seem too high and there are often preorder incentives near the time so preordering now doesn't seem like the best thing to do.

Anyone else feel they would preorder if they knew the exact date?

I won't pre-order, but I'll probably buy it later on down the line..

Blind dates can be interesting, too!

Guys, consider for a second the amount of crêpes you could buy with all that console money.

That's dumb. It's not like there's a chance that these consoles will be vaporware and you're going to get ripped off. Hell, I pre-ordered with Amazon for zero dollars. There is no risk.

If a date is stopping you from ordering it seems you don't really want one, preorder now guarantees one for launch (whenever that may be), wait for a date and you could possibly not have one this year.

Not that theres anything wrong with not wanting one straight away

You can easily preorder off of Amazon and cancel whenever you want. I have them both preordered, but only plan to get one. There's not any risk at all. You could even slowly pay it off through gift cards.
