Problem with Chime Download on Steam

when i try to run the just purchased Chime from steam, it starts installing Microsoft.NET Framework, after a minute it stops and displays a whole lot of stuff that i'm not smart enough to understand,  it says at the start : "System IO File not found.."  if i could copy paste it i would. Does anyone know what i'm talking about and how i could fix this, cuz i can't run the game
 
the only guess i can make is that i'm running it on XP and the requirment is Windows 7.

According to this you need WMP11. Do you have WMP11?

funny, i was just installing WMP11, complete coincidence, now ofcourse i'm having trouble validating it,  thx
 
EDIT : ok i need WMP11 but isn't available anymore, meaning i need windows 7, fuck ,

@TrashMustache: Dude, just upgrade to Windows 7. Starting in 2011 a good percentage of games will require DX11 or DX10.  Just upgrade already.

the System requirements page on Steam says XP and Vista are compatible.

He's playing a 2d indie game. I don't think he's gonna be needing DX11.

Dude windows 7 fucking rocks, just installed it on my home PC.
