But between those two, I would say Prototype, mostly because Jeff said on the Bombcast not to buy Undisputed because the online is broken right now.

Try the demo for UFC first, although if you don't have anybody to play local multiplayer with in all honesty I would hold off on that purchase. Not sure about prototype since I don't own it.
If you like the genre then I would expect UFC to have more of a lifespan. Personally I'm not much of a fighting game player so I would rather get Prototype.
Altho I would get Red Faction rather than Prototype, I'm finding it pretty replayable. I'm getting Prototype Tomorow so I should have a better idea then (didnt have time to play it today.)
Prototype seemed really meh to me. UFC felt broken because of all the online ragequiters, and also I hated the submission system. Save your money so you can buy a better game when you're in college.

thats a good plan .. i not that fond of footy games anymore but as you say you goin to uni a footy game might be a good idea . your not gona get much "social play" out of prototype and the graphics arent that spectacular so showing them of aint gona be that much fun.. altho running up skyscrapers and kiking helicopters out of the sky is always good fun..
Thanks everyone, I decided on Prototype, but I am away from my Xbox360 so I haven't played it yet. While I was at EB games I played the demo for Batman: Arkham Asylum and am really excited for that. Hopefully Prototype can keep me happy for a couple hours a day until August when Batman comes out. :P

I would have said UFC based on the pitch I heard from Jeff. But I am with you all the way for Batman! Sadly I have neither XBox, or a PS3, so I am skuppered.
