My proudest S-rank is... the fact that I don't have any. There's never been a game that has compelled me to do a bunch of stupid and tedious stuff. It just isn't fun, to me. There are a few games where I'm damn close, though. I'd have one for Oblivion if I owned the Xbox 360 version of Shivering Isles.
Proudest S-Rank?
The only original 1000 i got on any game was halo 3, then they added stupid DLC.
Now all i have is dash of destruction.
It'll be Borderlands for me once I get my 360 back from MS and can finish up those awful awful underdome stages.
I don't have one because of Sony :( If they let trophy data be on the site I would have one in Dead Space
Dead Rising and CoD4.
I also have Dead Space, COD2, Tomb Raider Legend, Dash of Destruction, NFS: Most Wanted, King Kong, and X-Men, but those were easy.
" @Meltac said:Yeah, they really should integrate Trophies too." I don't have a S rank in anything :( "This. :( If Sony wasn't such jerks and let GB use trophies, I'd have an S-rank. "
Although to be honest, I haven't platinum'd any games yet, but I do have a few S-Ranks on 360. I'd have to say Mass Effect 2 is my proudest, because fighting the Praetorians on Insanity was quite insane.
I would have to say Battlefield 1943 because it took me forever to play 100 matches of that. Also Civilization Revolution was pretty tough with a few tricky achievements you have to get.
dont got an s rank since im on the ps3 but my proudest plat is damnation since that games is so fucking bad it allso made me play though it 4 times and thats 4 to many.
other then that its proberly mordern warfare 2 veteran was really easy but 2 of the co-op maps was a bitch terminal and some other.
but honestly dont really got any plats that are comsiddered hard atleast i dont think they are
Lego Indian 2, I borrowed it for some free achievements since kid oriented games have easy ones but this game took forever and made me want to claw my eyes out the whole way
I only have 2 more achievements to go so I'm gonna say Mass Effect. Sure. Ability achievements are a kick in the balls, but beating that game on Insanity was one of the most proudest moments in my VG playing history. That and S-Ranking COD4 with Mile High Club.
All of them.
Though, if I had to pick on in particular, it would probably be either Modern Warfare 2 or Batman: Arkham Asylum.
I only have 6 S-Ranks & quite a few that are close but lost interest before
reaching S-Rank.
I think the two games I had the most pleasure in getting S-Ranks for was
Fallout 3 & Shadow Complex.
I've stopped caring for games that take ridiculous amounts of time to
get all of the achievements. In fact, some of my purchasing decisions
are based on how hard the achievements are. If they're ridiculous =
bargain bin title for me because I don't want to obsess, burn out, or
waste time trying to get a shitty achievement.
Don't know if Ive already replied to this thread, but...
'Splosion Man. Hardcore mode and multiplayer is no fucking joke.
Also, I see achievements more like challenges to do once I've completed a game, What's wrong with squeezing a little more out of a game when the main career mode is over?
Mine is my Viva Pinata S-Rank.
It's my only one because I don't have a 360 anymore.
I had every other of the achievements (I think it has 50 achievements at 20 points each) after 30 hours or less, so I had to get 50 hours REAL TIME played, but IIRC the timer stops whenever you get messages from the game, so it requires constant checking to make sure the clock is still ticking, maybe not-coincidentally my 360 died a few weeks later and I gave up on Microsoft.
But Viva Pinata S-Rank is awesome.
have to say lego indiana jones,so many hours put in it :) or nba 07 (cant get some of them any more)
Garou mark of the wolves
Bayonetta
(almost sranked demon souls)
i like hard games. The Garou one is practically impossible
Avatar the Last Airbender. The only games I have ever S-Ranked were Avatar, One of the CSI games and Oblivion. Oblivion's I lost because of the DLC when I didn't create an alt save when you have to make the choice about what Duke you would be. And I didn't go through the shit of going through to get it again with a new character. And I don't count CSI because I played it "with" my sister. She mostly did the playing while I sat there and help her by suggesting things which leaves Avatar which I did when I bought my brother the game and I thought what the hey. I don't really try for achievement points. I have some really easy S-Rankable games like Madden 06, King Kong, Phantasy Star Universe etc which I failed to do for all of them. I play a game to beat it and the achievements are incidental.
" when i S ranked my mom! "I S ranked your mum though.
Dude this is awkward.
And I'm yet to S-rank anything, I've a few points left in Mass Effect 2, but one's play through on Insanity, and I cant be bothered.
