I have a PS3 because my 360 broke twice and my third one was dying, I'm glad I made the switch since I love all my blu-rays. (I must have told this story 1,000,000 times)
I refuse to pay money for something that is almost certainly going to break. I also just generally prefer the exclusives that the PS3 gets. Meanwhile I can still play about half of the 360's "exclusives" on PC, so I feel no need to purchase another console.
I don't know why I bothered posting. This thread is going down in flames in a matter of seconds.
Judging pretty Objectivly i can say that Playstation 3 seems to be the Better /much better platform for Singleplayer games. It's exclusive are amazing but as i said most of em are Singleplayer only. Xbox 360 on the orther hand has got a good online system ... if you are willing to pay for it. Let's look into the future a bit... uhhm KAZING PS MOVE > NATAL...... Yea over all PS3 is the better system if you only want to play your games... or watch blurays

While I certainly appreciate your objectivity, this thread asked for your personal preference and I couldn't help but notice that your username is green. Does the already established friends list keep you on the 360's side? Do you prefer multiplayer over singleplayer?

I also In fact have a 360 but NEVER EVER used it ... ok i played through halo 3 and never touched it again... Dont even have any memorie device so i cant even save anymore-.- I also got a PS2.. which i like :P But mostly i am a PC gamer and I prefer PS3 when it comes to consoles Also where is the Wii?
360 because I like the controller better. Still play PS3 games though just if everything is even I'll go with 360 because I really dislike the PS controller. But in the spirit of this thread:

Oh, I just realized that you only have 8 posts so you may not be familiar with the colored name system. When you registered with Giant Bomb you were asked which system you were a fanboy for. If you chose the 360 then your name is displayed as green. PS3 = blue. I don't remember which colors are which for PC and Wii. This is why I assumed you would prefer the 360 since your name is in green.

I have both, and i prefer the ps3 because everything for the xbox360 is an after market part.You want wifi, pay $30. Want a controller that doesnt eat batteries?Pay $30. Plus it sounds like a jet engine, and they expect you to pay for xboxlive. I like my xbox, but the PS3 is a better system. Xboxs break during routine play, as if they have a self destruct date, making them a waste of $$$
I have all current generation consoles (and all last generation and most last last generation lol) and I end up playing about 50% on Xbox 360 and 50% on PS3 (and then Wii once every two months for 30 minutes to an hour). The reason for this is that I generally prefer the Xbox 360 controller but PSN is free and most of my MP playing friends are on PS3.

my 360 redringed, then i got it back, plugged it in and it broke IMMEDIATELY again as soon as i turned on the power. I muttered "this is fucking bullshit" to myself and got a PS3, donating my 360 when it came back from the repair shop once again. In short, I prefer PS3s because they are more reliable.
