Seems to be a nice little engine, could see an oblivionesque feel to this demonstration - turns out this is the same engine that was used to create flower, interesting
PS3 Phyre engine from GDC
Nice, looks like a really compatible engine, I hope to see this used a lot more in the future.
"And we've got a zombie"
I wouldn't usually drop something completely off-topic like this, but that guy's last name is definitely Coonbees.
If you don't find that amusing, I question your imagination.
Nice lighting, but - and I'm not sure it's something this engine would even handle - the physical weight of the shattered crypt cover seemed floaty. But, like I said "nice lighting."
I think it looks great. And if it was used to create flower, forget this tech demo and show flower instead because that game looks amazing.
"Looks cool, but I'll wait until we see a full game to judge it properly."I know its just because of the environment the demo there is set in, but i would LOVE to see how this engine would handle oblivion - the graphics in that game are still pretty nifty, but (admittedly still a tech demo) this seems a lot more - solid?
