[Real Talk] I saw this on a Rooster Teeth forum. I like their what's your worst joke you know, it would NEVER work here.

Amazon: Watch Dogs ~ I know this is usually the type of placeholder stuff, where they list December 31st, 2013, or 20XX. But I've never seen this one, where they just list the price. Some shitty collector's edition prices are like that; but then, what are the collector's PS4 editions gonna cost? : O. I mean, I would still buy it, I guess. Would you?

No fucking way in hell that's going to happen. People are used to 60 and that's where they want it now.

Yeah, not happening. They could hardly justify increasing to 70$ with the insane amount of DLCs and microtransactions they are releasing nowadays anyway.

LOL placeholder prices, even if they are still $60 new Sony will be taking a loss on what they made of games when the PS3 came out thanks to inflation and all.

They set the price at $99 because the price is unknown. When the time comes to charge your card for the game, they will have the actual price and notify you of a change in price.

Amazon did the same thing with WiiU releases. For a long time they had NintendoLand listed for $100 until they announced a date.

Jack Tretton has already said, or at least strongly suggested, that games will not be more than $60. That could always change, but I'm not worried.

I don't think they'll go above $60. If they do it's for special/collectors editions. They also get past the $60 mark with all the DLC. In a way we do sometimes pay more than $60 for our games. If there is DLC I'm interested in I usually try to get the game cheaper if possible. I also try not to pay $60 whenever I can. It just doesn't seem like a good price to me anymore.

There's no way that would happen. It would be completely unfeasible for us as consumers to be able spend that much on multiple titles every several months. They surely knows this. I don't think the standard 60$ dollar price will change this coming generation.
