I must have dropped the controller or something because the R2 button goes in easier for the first millimeter. Kind of hard to explain but it doesn't go in in one smooth motion anymore. Like When I play Pro Evo you press the R2 button in a replay to change player view. At the most minuscule of touches of the R2 button, it changes player. But it doesn't throw a grenade in COD4 at the same level of touch. It shakes about a bit too.
Does anyone know if i could take it apart and fix it? Would be nice because i just picked up my sixaxis and its R2 button is nicer to push.

UPDATE: Got it done. The spring in the R2 button was snapped. Replaced it with a similar spring found on floppy disks. Ended up replacing both springs with floppy ones. Works well now. Getting the R2 and L2 buttons in is a pain. If anyone needs any help with doing anything like this let me know. I know the controller inside out now.

Somebody Please Help:
Got the controller apart. I figured out how the r2 and l2 buttons work. I need to know how exactly to put them back into the case. I dont know what order things should go in. I already built up the l2 and r2 buttons into the seperate sockety thing but now i am wondering if i should do it in that order. Can Anybody help.

You should NOT have done that... L2 and R2 buttons are a pain in the ass to get back in, you have to really force it. You can get the buttons back, but then its the closing of the case thats hard.

Can't help you there, unless I was THERE.
