Given the positive reception of the Random PC Game Daggerfall (and Daggerfall Part 2) videos with Dave and Vinny (among members anyway), I was thinking of giving Dave and Vinny some ideas. If they decide to do something that is not Daggerfall for the next one I would suggest an adventure game, specifically a Sierra adventure game, specifically The Colonel's Bequest. It would be so god damn fun to see Vinny and Dave solving a mystery together. Post your ideas and try to keep the subscriber non subscriber stuff in the Daggerfall video.
Random PC Game with Dave and Vinny Suggestion Thread.
Baldur's Gate II?
or maybe: Red Baron, Alpha Centauri or The Longest Journey.
Crusader Kings and original Railroad Tycoon would be great, too
I second freespace 2, especially as it looks a lot better now (for those who don't know, the dev released the code for both freespace games, and the fans have been working on them since then). sometimes the internet is capable of awesome things.
Fallout 2 has a good starter dungeon: slightly harder than it probably should be, but still entirely doable. This is as opposed to Fallout 1, which has a totally trivial start, followed by OH MY GOD 6 HUGE RADSCORPIONS WHAT THE *dead*.
Freespace 2 is a good shot.
Hmm... Eve Online? I dunno, never played it, but it seems like the kind of thing that might be worth a look.
I kinda want to say Dwarf Fortress, but one of them would have to spend a little while getting a grip on it before the video starts. I don't even want to imagine what a cold start into DF looks like.
Silent Storm? Maybe Ghost Master, or some Etherlords 2?

Better yet, have Brad do it. Hilarity.

Two. Power to the people! Workers of the world unite! Smash the aristocracy! Down with the ruling class! Off with their heads!!!
Anyway, my vote goes to X-COM: UFO Defense.
Magic Carpet
Day of the Tentacle / Full Throttle
Rise of Nations
MDK2
Jedi Oudcast / Jedi Academy (so much fun with console commands)
I think a long RPG type game would best suit the feature. My choice would be either Jagged Alliance 2 or Fallout 1 or 2. Honourable mention goes to Icewind Dale 2 and Baldur's Gate 2.

Positive Reception? Have you seen those comments? Butthurt Central!
Fallout 1 or 2, but, then again I don't want to see them die over and over traveling from one town to the next.

Split the difference and play Arcanum instead.

That'd be interesting to see, despite the fact that I have made my opinion on Arcanum in particular very clear on this website. They'd probably make a crappy gun character and then immediately get lost in Tarant. That's what I did when I first played that game at least.
Master of goddamn Magic. I want to see them fuck shit up, wizard-style. And then comment on exactly how fucked up the results appear to be.
I would also be content with the continuing adventures of Ynniv Humbleskeep: professional bard/corpse. I just booted up my own copy of Daggerfall and waltzed through the tutorial dungeon with ease. Helps I made my own warrior-based class. Also helpful: starting with a silver mace.
Knowing Vinny he would pick the supermodel pre-made built and herpderp his way throughout every conversation. That'd be interesting to see, despite the fact that I have made my opinion on Arcanum in particular very clear on this website. @damnable_fiend: Dude, the Longest Journey or Dreamfall would be /fantastic/.
I'd also really like to see Dave wrap his head around E.Y.E, or the both of them go back to old games like Stonekeep, or Betrayal in Antara/in Krondor. If not RPGs, maybe some old stuff like Toonstruck or one of the Quest for Glory games?
