'lo.
There is a good chance I will be moving into an environment even less friendly towards my surround setup than the current one already is. So before I hang on to expensive equipment that I cannot operate at more than 5% capacity, I was thinking about switching to a high-quality headset for the neighbours' sake.
A quick google search brought up several people claiming that a good stereo headset is preferable to a "5.1"-headset; I wouldn't know, but I do like surround sound. What is there on the market? How many compromises do I have to make? I am used to medium-range quality 5.1 DTS / DD (X360) output, and I am willing to spend a good sum of money.
This is for BluRay and gaming, of course. Console gaming, that is.
Recommend me a headset!
